About the Artist
Sparks seem to ignite when I engage with nature and they bloom into life as I craft my jewelry and artwork. Precious Metal Clay, the primary medium I use, enables me to apply my skills and passion for sculpture to my jewelry and accessories. After many years of mostly drawing and painting, jewelry making has become the primary expression for my creative spirit. I have been involved in the arts since I was very young and was influenced greatly by eight older brothers and sisters, many of whom were artists and musicians and my mother, who is also an artist. My father owned a steel construction company, which I feel is also an influence on my choosing to work with metals. I attended Academy of Art College in San Francisco and was also involved in the fashion industry for many years.
